I highly recommend Disney this time of year. It was not all that crowded and the temperature topped out in the upper 70's most days. Below you will find some of our favorite moments... some awesome, some not so awesome and some that were just weird.
Like Epcot...the park itself is beautiful and I thoroughly enjoyed the sights.
The girls were afraid of Aladdin (and they are not afraid of anything)...but can you blame them? He almost didn't look human.
Loved the Tower of Terror. We could all ride, it was thrilling for everyone, and no one got off wounded with whiplash.
Loved the Lion King performance...all but this strange guy that stared at me throughout the entire performance and kept winking. At the point that I figured it couldn't get anymore awkward and weird, I just started taking his picture.
Oh the junk food we ate.
Okay, I just have to say a few things about the world of princesses in Disney World. I know that I am treading on thin ice with such a topic, as who doesn't adore the Disney Princess. Please know that I am right there with ya, I have always loved all the princesses. Let me repeat, I love them all and can only imagine that their job probably gets a little old at times; but I must say that some of them have developed a very unflattering demeanor of "snob" since I last visited them in Florida. Maybe it's the heat and the crowds...the combination of those two things can wear on the best of us; but Cinderella actually called out my Caroline on the red carpet for picking her nose. I do indeed understand that Caroline wasn't displaying her princess manners, and that Cinderella probably just didn't want Caroline to wipe something unpleasant on her dress. But seriously, need we call such negative, embarrassing attention to the child that has been anticipating this moment for days now? Miss High and Mighty Cinderella is lucky that Miss Caroline's Momma did not encourage her to use that lovely blue gown she was wearing as a tissue...and that's all I have to say about that. Did I go to far? Hate me if you must, just trying to keep it real.
Making wishes at the castle...
Wow, seriously Jasmine. I had no words then and I have no words now.
The fireworks were lovely...

your blog isn't showing as updating on mine for some reason, so i just have to stalk more. glad yall had fun, welcome home!
Oh, looks like a wonderful time, and the Daddy rushing thing- sounds very familiar:)It's all part of the memory making.
Can't wait to see the foyer!
Thanks for posting, we are heading out in the kinda near future and I was excited yet. You did it for me the excitement is back. We have had the same sort of experience with some of the princesses. You wait in line forever and then they act as though they can't be bothered. Gladd you had fun, can't wait to see the rest of the house tour, you are an inspiration.
Cha Cha
I love your posts ... you have a gift at telling a story or recanting a memory !! What fun you guys had at Disney ... we took Jax when he was 2, which, was a bit too young. We look forward to taking him back when he's a bit older. :) I can't wait to see your foyer remodel !! And, here I am scared to hang easy peasy beadboard wallpaper in a tiny "toilette" room, and you're climbing on ladders at 7 months pregnant ?! I will complain no more !! Take care, Becca
Love it! We are going for the 3rd year in a row in June and cannot wait. We obviously cannot get enough. We have had some really magical moments with some of the princesses - one Aurora in particular. In fact, we have seen her for the past 2 years and she is precious. We even decided last year to try to find her again later in our trip, and then decided to just walk away when it was a different Aurora.
Sometimes its hit or miss, but the hits make it worth every minute. LOL about Cinderella - how rude can you get?!
What a fun trip. The lion king guy is kinda creepy & I think Miss Cinderella needs to remember where she came from. The whole Jasmine thing - she's just there for the dads who come along (eye candy).
Glad y'all had a good time & can't wait for more house tour.
Your kids are beautiful! Looks like so much fun and what great memories you will all share for years to come. Geez seriously Cinderella?! And I'm reading the comment above mine about Jasmine, LOL. Glad you all enjoyed such a magical vacation!
Great pics!!! We are hoping to go there next winter. I can't believe Cinderella was such a jerk! That's one of those moments where 5 minutes later you can think of 20 things you should've said, but at the time can't think of anything. Jasmine...oh my. And the Lion King guy totally had the hots for you. Either that or he's an ax-murderer. Who is hiring these people? Hee-hee! Your girls are so pretty and it looks like they had a great time. Love your husband's comments at the beginning! LOL!!!
Keep it real girl! I love it. The fireworks looked awesome. And "Jasmine, can I get you something? As in cloth." FOR REAL. And for the "game face" or "the weak fall behind", pure trauma. :) The pictures express it so well, thanks for sharing them.
Ok, I just came across your blog from my friend Abby's. and sadly I admit that I don't actually read very many blogs... I scroll through Tons! But I did read yours and you are histerical! You are too funny. My husband sounds just like your's. Keep your game face on has been said to me many a time. And I can only imagine how he will say that to our future kids! Anyway, thanks for the post. It brightened my boring work day. Also, Belle is ALWAYS the best and the nicest!
we had NO idea what we were in for! and that poor child who was crying in Cinderella's castle...i'm sure her parents thought about putting her on a plane and flying her home (more than once)!
I just don't even know what to say about the Cinderella, holier than though moment!!!!!!!! When is it Cinderella's place to comment on the child's manners????!!!! Girls all look adorable every single day and am sure they were all behaving perfectly the whole trip, LOL. By the way, your Ebay front doors are magnificent!
Belle was our favorite. And our Jasmine wasn't as...blessed as yours was. BUt she was a bit snobby and leaned a little too much on The Man's chair for my liking.
Oh my goodness!!! I was laughing out loud!!! What a shame about Cinderella. You wait desperately to see her and then she has to go and do that. Jasmine... hello????? That was the late night version!! Ha! The Lion King guy was just freaky. We definitely had some "moments" in Europe and there were a few times that I thought I might leave the four year old there, but it was a great time!
