Paris. This is the very moment that my love affair with outdoor living began. My husband and I, along with my sister and brother-in-law, spent a picturesque week in Paris last fall. The weather was beyond beautiful, and the outdoor spaces at the chateau where we stayed were as beautiful as the weather. There is just something so lovely about a beautiful space created outdoors. Oh cute carpenter of mine, I feel a project comin' on.

Love it! If you are road-tripping to Lucketts let me know. I am a short 25 minute trip down rte. 15! :)
I go out to Luckett's quite a bit too, great place!!
Contented sigh....
Love the pictures from France and your friend's little piece of heaven. :)
Hi Amy! Oh, those photos of your friend's gorgeous outdoor space makes me dislike my deck even more! :-) But they are so inspirational and maybe when they day comes for me to rip that puppy off my house I will be able to have something as lovely (or more like half as lovely!) as that! We spent some time in Europe a few years ago and it has completely influenced me when it comes to design. So fun to see your pics from your trip!

Lovely blog. Just recently started following. I have a dilemma today though. I have recently viewed a blog post, made a mental note to go back to it, then forgot which blog I was on. So, my question is have you recently posted a blog about a new rug in your kitchen? Thanks.
Luckett's is wonderful, rooms and rooms full of unique treasures. I live in Kansas and have had the opportunity to shop there several times with a friend who lives in Keedysville, Md. I loved visiting around that area, it is a beautiful part of our country.
LOVE these pics and LOVE your friend's backyard HAVEN...oh my goodness ..I'm speechless at her outdoor living space...and I'm not speechless often. :)
Oh my word! As I am reading your blog, I saw the pictures of Geoff and Mary! Geoff and Mary live in my neighborhood! What a small world!
How funny! The pieces have all come together! Alana is my sister-in-law. She and I giggled for a LONG time about this. She FINALLY looked up your blog (which Mary had told her about many times). Perhaps we will run into eachother one day! Happy Thursday!
Got to love the chair!
