Pretending in Paris...and other places too

Arriving at the Chateau De Villiers-Le-Mahieu, a little overwhelmed, about to cry, Mary and I almost had to hit our knees in thanks, getting ready to start pretending...

Pretending on our way to Notre Dame...

Mary and Geof pretending on the grounds of the Chateau...

Pretending on the streets of Montmartre...

Pretending that I am not about to fall asleep at Musee d'Orsay...

Pretending that this is our Chateau...

Overwhelmed and pretending some more at dinner at the Chateau (no one appreciated our picture taking...we did not care)...

Loving the moment God had given us on a breath-taking evening in the French countryside...

So much more to come....

Oh, what fun! My husband and I will celebrate our 25th anniversary next June. We want to take a special trip, and we're trying to decide where to go. Paris is among the choices--I've been there once, long ago; he's never been there at all. One of the things that draws us to France is the possibility of taking a day trip to Normandy, which I know you guys did. So what do you think? Would you go back? We've traveled a good deal, usually with our kids, but we want this to be a special trip just for us. So glad you got to go!

Just saw these as I was going through your awesome blog!!! We leave for Germany next week. We lived there for almost three years and we are taking our daughter to meet all the neighbors and celebrate our dearest friend's 50th birthday. My four year old took a year long French class at her day care and is in love with the Eiffel Tower so we are taking her there. We traveled there often and traveled all over while we lived there. It will be very different to do it with a little one! Seeing these pictures just got me more excited!!!! Looks like you had a fabulous time!
