Yep, I'm totally doing this!

I have been in the planning stages of a craft room for about a year now. I daydream about it every time I open the overflowing, disorganized, chaotic doors of my craft "closet". It is a dark, crammed, dreadful little closet that just simply wants to be a closet. She is so tired of me forcing her to being something she's not.

And so I have decided to make a new space, and Heather Bailey's studio is what I am going for. All I'm gonna need is a fun mirror to paint turquoise:
A chandelier, some white shelving, a velvet chair:
An armoire with arched openings, an island:
And one of those ribbon thingies:
I know you think I am kidding, but oh how I promise that I am going to somehow find a way. I told my cute carpenter not to plan on sleeping this weekend.

I love this room too!It makes me drool - haha! I have had it saved for quite some time now and plan on turning my garage into something similar, although it will never turn out this good. Can't wait to see what you come up with. I know it will be gorgeous!

Oh my goodness I love that room! I have totally not utilized some space in our mudroom and would love to come up with something gorgeous and clever like that! I can't wait to see how you accomplish this and put your own stamp on it!

I think it's a lovely idea. I would dearly love a room just for crafts. It is a blessing to have a carpenter close at hand!

Oh yes, I love this craft room, too! I have a craft closet like you ~ I've been saying I'm going to fix it up better than it currently is for the past few months, but I wasn't sure what to do. I have kind of a plan now, but it involves storage bins on sale or with a coupon from Michaels.

I actually have pine bookcases with drawers on the bottom {instead of doors} that have arches like that. Mine are in the spare bedroom right now, but they are waiting for me to get a room to call my own and then they will be painted and brought to life!
